"1st time trying out this Steakhouse…& we’ll DEFINITELY be back‼ They celebrated a birthday in August & had PROMO on steaks - 300g - WOW‼ cooked to PERFECTION & in no time at all. Service was GREAT, fast & efficient. Bathrooms spotless. Prices were $$$$ but worth it if U looking for a GOOD steak. Place can be cost in Winter & there’s plenty of outdoor seating for better weather days / nights"

"I was looking for a very special place to celebrate my husband's birthday. I found Turn 'n Tender on google and made a booking. We felt special from the moment we entered till we left - even though we were dressed very casually. The decor, our waiter and the food was 10/10. Wow really the best steak we have eaten in a long time. I would recommend them to anyone. This was on 9 April 2025. Was my husbands last birthday. He passed on 14 June 2025. Thank you for making this day so special for us."

Many of the reviews are very positive, so please balance out your opinion by reading those also, but for me I’m not entirely sure what differentiates Turn & Tender from a Hussar Grill location closer to you. That said, it was very busy / full on and ordinary Monday evening, so they must be doing something right and perhaps it was just me on the evening "

"⭐ Beautiful Review for Turn ’n Tender Paarlberg – Grand Opening We had the absolute pleasure of attending the grand opening of the new Turn ’n Tender in Paarl, hosted by the wonderful Ian and Joan. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed and appreciated—what a fantastic start to an unforgettable evening. The food was exceptional: • My husband enjoyed a perfectly prepared 300g fillet steak with chips—tender, flavorful, and cooked to absolute perfection. • I had the 200g fillet steak with mash, pumpkin and spinach, and every bite was pure delight. • For dessert, my husband had a whiskey Dom Pedro, smooth and indulgent, while I had the baked cheesecake—without a doubt the best cheesecake I have ever tasted. The quality of the food was outstanding, and the entire dining experience was exceptional from start to finish. A special mention must go to our lovely waitress Nkosi, who was an absolute delight—friendly, patient, and offering truly excellent service throughout the evening. She added a warm, personal touch that made the experience even more memorable. Congratulations to Ian and Joan on a wonderful opening. Turn ’n Tender Paarl is a superb addition to the area, and we look forward to many future visits!"
